Joe Lambert is an expert instructor for Safety Research Consultants, Inc., (SRC) who started his career in law enforcement in 1970. As a traffic motorcycle sergeant at the Newport Beach Police Department in Southern California, Lambert worked with local schools to develop traffic safety programs, and talked to students about safety.

“Safety training makes people aware of traffic safety and the dangers of the road both from them and other drivers,” he said. “I hope my training helps prevent anyone from hurting others or themselves, and from kicking themselves over doing so.”

He tells his own family to “keep your eyes moving; it helps you stay alert and seeing what’s around you.”

Lambert holds certifications from the Traffic Program Management Institute in personnel management, advanced police management, criminal investigation management, traffic collision investigation and is a certified radar instructor. He possesses a California State teaching credential for the college level.
