Jim Holder
Jim Holder is an expert instructor for Safety Research Consultants, Inc., (SRC) who started his career in law enforcement in 1988. He has worked as a patrol, motor and mounted officer, a collision investigator and reconstructionist, a terrorism liaison officer coordinator and a patrol sergeant for the Garden Grove Police Department in Southern California.
He once reconstructed a motor collision that had caused a 9-year-old boy to be left paraplegic. A witness testimony had put the boy’s mother at fault, but Holder’s reconstruction determined it was an intoxicated driver who had run a stop sign.
“As a long-time collision investigator, I train drivers in the hopes of putting myself out of the reconstruction business,” Holder said.
He tells his own family: “Think!”
Holder is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
