Bob Landman is the founder and CEO of Safety Research Consultants, Inc., (SRC), who started his career in law enforcement in 1976. He worked with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Burbank Police Department and Irvine Police Department in Southern California, where he served in driving under the influence (DUI) enforcement and commercial enforcement.

“Commercial enforcement was the best job I had as a police officer,” Landman said. “I spent my time contacting hardworking individuals who were trying to make a living and worked with them to make sure their trucks were safe to be on the roads.”

He tells his own family: “Always be a defensive driver, not an offensive one.”

Landman is certified in hazardous materials transportation enforcement; hazardous materials response, command and investigations; commercial enforcement; traffic accident investigation; and drug influence. He holds Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) advanced and intermediate certificates.
